Freezing Luke Filewalker

I have constantly the problem that the Luke Filewalker window freezes, i have enabled avscan in Zonealarm, run an update but the problem still exists, when i started to use Avira the problem was also there (about a year ago), now i have a year payed for my avira the problem starts again, i wont give you any listings of my system. ?(

Hi Mondriaan,

1. Does Avira freeze every time on one and the same file?
2. Did you try to scan in Safe Mode?

Hello, no it doesn't do it every time and i am running in expert mode, i am no expert thats why i don't like the solution to disable in >general>security>product protection but every time i use the on demand option to scan files and the window freezes and i start the program that i recently scanned the program hangs and i even can't stop that problem so i have to reset the complete computer and can wait about 5 minutes before i can start again, when i scan after that the same files again the problem does not start and the window closes normal. ?(

Hi Mondriaan,

When you talk about "on demand option to scan files" do you mean complete system scan?
Did you try to scan via Safe Mode?
Scotty is currently on patrol
